They first charged me with disorderly conduct,
\nThere being no statute on blasphemy.
\nLater they locked me up as insane
\nWhere I was beaten to death by a Catholic guard.
\nMy offense was this:
\nI said God lied to Adam, and destined him
\nTo lead the life of a fool,
\nIgnorant that there is evil in the world as well as good.
\nAnd when Adam outwitted God by eating the apple
\nAnd saw through the lie,
\nGod drove him out of Eden to keep him from taking
\nThe fruit of immortal life.
\nFor Christ\u2019s sake, you sensible people,
\nHere\u2019s what God Himself says about it in the book of Genesis:
\n\u201cAnd the Lord God said, behold the man
\nIs become as one of us\u201d (a little envy, you see),
\n\u201cTo know good and evil\u201d (The all-is-good lie exposed):
\n\u201cAnd now lest he put forth his hand and take
\nAlso of the tree of life and eat, and live forever:
\nTherefore the Lord God sent Him forth from the garden of Eden.\u201d (The reason I believe God crucified His Own Son
\nTo get out of the wretched tangle is, because it sounds just like Him. )<\/p>\n
