In the summer and spring, we’re often at the PVD Pedestrian Bridge on Friday and Saturday nights (weather dependent). Poets Wheeler Cowperthwaite and Alicia Pratt offer poetry on demand at many area art markets.

Recent poems commissioned included a poem for young love in the time of COVID-19, a gift of gratitude for a middle school principal, and complicated relationships across countries.

The poems on demand are unique and based on details supplied by the person commissioning the work. The price? Whatever you think is fair. (Events have a different scale).

Wheeler used to write on a 1940s Royal Arrow typewriter (in need of repairs after an accident) and is always in search of additional portable typewriters and an affordable IBM Selectric.

Upcoming events

While finding us busking can be a little hard, I do have a schedule of where we’ll be next. Hint: art markets!

We’ll be at PVD Fest on Sunday, July 10, for the Haus of Codec Art Market.
